The Indiantown Road Bascule Bridge consisted of twin single leaf bascule bridges over the intracoastal waterway. The project was in two-phases, with the new south bridge and related work constructed first and traffic routed to the new bridge. The project features included 10,700 lf of 24" concrete piling, 6,300 lf of 30" piling and 14,800 cubic yards of concrete for the approach substructure, approach superstructure and bascule piers.
Other work included is a curb and gutter, asphalt, water main, force main, drainage, tensar walls, embankment, lighting, landscaping and signalization.
